Hopefully the holiday season has left you with a sense of strengthened connection to the people in your lives and with a replenished sense of awe for all the beauty in this universe.

LMC is still a bit aglow with the fantastic sensation that follows being able to match a fine gift to a deserving recipient.  We are excited to have purchased a Grand Piano in honor of Eleanor Hale Wilson (1906-2008), who was a long-time LMC member, cellist, pianist, and educator; international President of Mu Phi Epsilon.  The Eleanor Hale Wilson Endowment, received in 2010, has allowed LMC to start a new era of growth, as well as securing an enduring legacy for Mrs. Wilson.

Installed in the downtown Seattle Public Library, our recently-purchased Steinway B piano will be used by our own musicians, as well as members of the public who perform in the library’s Microsoft Auditorium. This gorgeous instrument will be on long-term loan to the library, our most enduring venue for our monthly Public Concert Series.

Some post-holiday rest right around now would be most welcomed.  But as you may have noticed, classical musicians rarely rest.  Come take advantage of this fact by enjoying our continuing season of concerts. Make a point to come hear our newest gift to you, the Eleanor Hale Wilson Steinway piano!
