1. FACT: Up to 20% of employee turnover happens in the first 45 days (Source: O.C. Tanner). This fascinated me. I read about manager Read-Me’s and created Hi—I’m Edwin based on these templates. 

2. I was asked this week about ‘how to firmly to manage people and what levels of autonomy / micro-management is appropriate’. Answer: You have to change style as a leader. Employee’s want freedom. You have to aspire to be a flexible leader. And at the same time be strict and demanding. I recommended this article on building a growth minded team. 


3. Excellent overview of building value based pricing models. 

4. Because it’s cool - Google makes emails more dynamic with AMP for Email. 

5. I love reviewing email templates that convert. Here is an analysis of 6 of the best emails ever sent (with detailed analysis on WHY they work).

6. Productivity 101. In a nutshell: we should keep what causes joy and release what doesn’t.

7. How are the new year’s resolutions tracking? Are you tracking and living towards your personal vision statement…..don’t succumb to the two hazards of prophecy.
