SPANISH: El domingo 13 de Septiembre, tuvimos la alegría de recibir a nuestro querido Diputado de Estado Scott A. O’Connor, quien fue portador de la placa de membresía, TOP10 reclutadores al hermano Raúl Cendan, que concedió el Consejo Supremo, foto de la cual aparece debajo. El hermano Raúl personalmente y también todos los miembros de nuestro Consejo coincidimos en agradecer el premio y la gentileza de nuestro Diputado de Estado. Nos aclaró que aunque el Supremo selecciona los diez primeros lugares, realmente en la lista oficial nosotros somos el número siete. En la foto del grupo aparece nuestro Capellán Rev. Fernando Carmona, actual Vicario de nuestra parroquia, que fue el sacerdote que oficio la Misa, y desde su llegada recibió nuestra gloriosa Orden.
ENGLISH: On Sunday, September 13, we had the joy of receiving our beloved State Representative Scott A. O'Connor, who was the bearer of the membership plaque, TOP10 recruiters to brother Raúl Cendan, granted by the Supreme Council, photo of which appears below. Brother Raúl and all the members of our Council thanked the State Deputy for this award. He clarified that although Supreme Council selects the first ten places, in reality in the official list, we are number seven. In the group photo, appears our Chaplain Rev. Fernando Carmona, current Vicar of our parish, who was the priest who officiated the Mass, and since his arrival received our glorious Order.
Saturday, Nov. 14 - Flea Market Craft Event: The Ladies Auxillary, Council 7408 , Knights of Columbus will host a Flea Market Craft Event
The Event on Nov. 14 will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 6725 Babcock Street in Palm Bay. Sponsored by the Ladies Auxillary Council 7408. Thanksgiving Dinner
St. Charles Borromeo Knights of Columbus Council 5399 will have its cooked smoked turkey Thanksgiving dinner for six available for pickup from 7 -11 a.m. Nov. 26 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish Center. Dinner will include a 12-14-pound whole smoked turkey, homemade corn bread dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn on the cob and cranberry sauce. Donations for the diner are $50 with all proceeds going to St. Charles Borromeo School. There will be a limited number of dinners available so call early to reserve yours. Tickets can be purchased from St. Charles Parish Office or by calling Dave at 1-404-944-9172 or Tom at 941-235-0701.
