Over the next year HUD will conduct four virtual deliveries of the Building HOME training. This course is a prerequisite for all other HOME topical courses. The virtual delivery of Building HOME provides an overview of the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, including the latest requirements codified in the July 24, 2013, HOME Final Rule. This is an introduction to the HOME Program inclusive of all of the new regulatory changes, but in a modified format for a virtual delivery. Participants will become familiar with all program activities, including homeowner and homebuyer, rental housing, tenant-based rental assistance, and CHDO activities.
Note, this is a four-week webinar series presentation of the Building HOME training. Sessions take place via webinar technology on the following dates: September 16, 23, 30 and October 7; Participants are expected to attend all four sessions in the series. Sessions will be recorded and posted to allow registered participants who may have a scheduling conflict for a webinar session.
Participants must have registered as instructed below for completion of the series to qualify as the pre-requisite for future HOME certification. Although some PJ staff may participate in a group setting, each participant will need to register individually as instructed below for completion of the series and to satisfy the requirement of Building HOME as a prerequisite for all HOME topical courses.

Who Should Attend?
Building HOME Webinar Series is relevant to Participating Jurisdiction staff, Subrecipients, and CHDOs. This webinar is limited to 300 participants and registration for this training will close 24 hours before the webinar begins.

Registering for Building HOME: Webinar Series I
Access the registration page below and then select Register Now on the right side of the page.
If you have a HUD Exchange Account:
- Select the Register Now button
You will be directed to HUD Exchange Learn, if you are logged into your HUD Exchange account. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log in before being directed to HUD Exchange Learn
- Select the Class, under Scheduled Classes
- Select the Enroll button
- Select the Launch button
- Complete the webinar registration form and select the Register button.
- You will be sent an email reminder with a personalized link to access the Webinar.
If you do not already have a HUD Exchange Account:
- Go to the HUD Exchange Account Registration Page
- Fill out the Personal Information and Login Information sections
- Click the Step 2 button
- Step 2 prompts you to indicate your experience with the various HUD programs, systems,and topic areas
Please note that the Program Experience fields are optional, and you may proceed to the next step if you have no experience in the areas listed
- Click the Register button at the bottom of the page to create your HUD Exchange account
- Your account has been created. Please proceed with registration instructions for “If you have a HUD Exchange Account”
