Fundamentals of Fair Housing - FHAP Investigation

The Fundamentals of Fair Housing - FHAP Investigation course is designed to ensure that FHAP intake officers and investigators have a basic framework, which they can build upon to carry out their duties in a timely, efficient, professional, and proficient manner.
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the key steps involved in how to plan case investigations
- Identify and apply applicable elements of proof as the framework to investigate a case
- Describe techniques for gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
- Describe how to develop final investigative reports and drafts of determinations
Participants should have less than 3 years of experience working at a FHAP. Participants should support investigation activities.
