This notice governs Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds awarded under several appropriations. Specifically, this notice provides waivers and establishes alternative requirements for certain grantees that have submitted waiver requests for grants provided pursuant to Public Laws.
This notice provides:
- Clarifying guidance, waivers, and alternative requirements for certain grantees that received an allocation of funds appropriated under the following Public Laws: 113-2, 114-113, 114-223, 114-254, 115-31, 115-56, 115-123, 115-254, and 116-20
- Action plan substantial amendment requirements for CDBG-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) grants
- Further clarification on the waiver and alternative requirement for use of a FEMA-approved alternative to the CDBG-DR elevation requirement for nonresidential structures
- Changes to the Duplication of Benefits (DOB) Implementation Notice for grantees that received a CDBG-DR allocation for a 2015, 2016, or 2017 disaster event
