HUD is making $12.3 million in Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 and FY 2021 National Homeless Data Analysis Project (NHDAP) funding available to organizations for Administrative activities, Coordination activities, and the following four projects:
- Sage Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) Reporting Repository (Sage)
- National HMIS Data Lab
- Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) and Homeless Data Exchange (HDX)
- HMIS Data Standards
The NHDAP provides critical resources that allow communities to improve data collection and reporting, integrate data collection efforts in HMIS with other funding streams, and use software as a service (SaaS) for data integration. NHDAP activities will also enhance the ability for HUD and communities to report and analyze data about persons experiencing homelessness and will enhance HUD’s ability to produce standards and specifications for data entry and reporting for HMIS-generated reports, analyze point-in-time and longitudinal data to produce the Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR), and provide NHDAP project-specific technical assistance (TA) on HMIS implementation.
Applications are due on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. View the full NHDAP Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
