HUD is pleased to offer four trainings on Basically CDBG for Entitlements and one training on CDBG for States this summer.
focuses on key program topics such as national objectives, eligible activities, program administration, financial management, IDIS, performance measurement, and reporting and recordkeeping. In addition, the course will provide answers to common CDBG questions and will highlight HUD interpretation of key policy issues.
Please follow the registration links below to see the individual class descriptions for each delivery. Components of Basically CDBG trainings may vary according to these specifications:
Basically CDBG is a 2.5 day training. Registrants who receive only CDBG funds may plan to leave the workshop after that section of the training.
Modules on the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) and CDBG Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) may be added to Basically CDBG trainings – see individual class descriptions for details.
Each additional module is a half day of training. Registrants from organizations that receive NSP or CDBG-DR funds should plan to stay through those sections of the training.
All Grantees must enroll online using their OneCPD user profile. If you have not created a user profile, please first go to the OneCPD Login Page
