HUD hosted a webinar that focused on actions grantees can take to identify and spend Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds at risk of being returned to the Treasury Department before the cancellation deadline.

This 60-minute webinar provided grantees with guidance on how to address any balance of FY 2014 CDBG funds and offered an opportunity for participants to submit questions to HUD and technical assistance providers.

Training Objectives

Participants learned about:

  • CDBG account balance determination
  • Identifying funds that are available for obligation
  • Options to fully expend funds before the cancellation deadline
  • Annual Action Plan amendment requirements
