The CDBG program will be hosting two webinars on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 and Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 2:00-3:30 pm EST to assist grantees in responding to the system changes launched with IDIS Release 11.4 on November 27. You should elect to attend one of the two webinars, as they will both cover the same material.
For state grantees, we encourage that you attend the Thursday webinar as the Q&A portion will include a short discussion of state-specific issues.
During the training, we will go into the IDIS system to demonstrate how you will use the new functions available in IDIS related to preventing long-standing open activities, reducing the number of activities that are cancelled with draws, and providing explanations for revised draws. We will also walk you through the new PR-59 report that has been developed to track these at-risk CDBG activities.
Prior to the training, we encourage all grantees to read through the CDBG Changes in IDIS Instructions for Grantees IDIS Release 11.4
document on these changes and come prepared with questions for the Q&A portion of the training. This is the same document you will have received from your HUD field office last week.
