Housing is Health Care: Webinar January 19, 2017 - 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST
This webinar, presented by the HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau-supported Center for Innovation in HIV Care, will explore sustainable models for care, treatment, and prevention. The National AIDS Housing Coalition in collaboration with the Ontario HIV Treatment Network has produced the North American Housing and HIV/AIDS Research Summit Series. Over the eight summits, a large body of research has been compiled showing that housing as a structural intervention correlates with improved health outcomes for people living with HIV, prevents the spread of HIV, and is cost effective. The webinar will show how this research has been applied and share strategies on how housing can be developed and move us toward ending the HIV epidemic.
