In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), HUD’s Office of HIV/AIDS Housing reissued the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Project Demonstration Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). This is a re-issuance of the VAWA/HOPWA Project Demonstration NOFA originally announced on August 24, 2015. Applications are due March 8, 2016

The Office of HIV/AIDS Housing has made several resources available for potential applicants:
- *NEW* The Office of HIV/AIDS Housing has issued a set of FAQs on the reissued VAWA/HOPWA Project Demonstration NOFA.
- On Thursday, January 28, 2016, the Office of HIV/AIDS Housing hosted a Debriefing and Pre-Application Webcast on the reissued VAWA/HOPWA Project Demonstration NOFA. The webcast served as a debriefing for all applicants who applied under FR-5900-N-11, the original VAWA/HOPWA Project Demonstration NOFA, and as a resource for anyone interested in submitting an application under the reissued NOFA, FR-5900-N-11B. The archived webcast is available to view at your convenience.
- HUD issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the original VAWA/HOPWA Project Demonstration NOFA. All of the information in the FAQs is relevant to the reissued NOFA except for references to the Memorandum of Experience (MOE) requirements. The reissued NOFA includes detailed information on the changes to the MOE requirements. View HUD’s FAQs on the original NOFA.
- On September 8, 2015, the Office of HIV/AIDS Housing hosted a webcast for anyone interested in submitting an application under the original VAWA/HOPWA Demonstration NOFA. Although the NOFA was reissued, the first webcast covers relevant application and submission information that was not covered in the Debriefing and Pre-Application webcast for the reissued NOFA.
