It’s been too long! The Better Buildings Summit, from May 17–19, 2022, is your chance to re-connect with multifamily peers working to create housing communities that are energy efficient, healthy, and resilient in the face of climate change. Join us for the following multifamily specific events:

  • Multifamily Sector Dinner Out: Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EDT
Share a meal and network informally at Federico Ristorante Italiano on the first night of the Summit! Meet at the Doubletree Crystal City hotel lobby at 5:30 PM to walk there together or meet us at the restaurant at 6:00 PM. We have reserved the restaurant’s front porch to allow for maximum ventilation. Please email becca.curry@icf.com if you’ll be joining us, so we can get a head count.
  • Multifamily Meet-Up: Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 9:00 – 10:30 AM EDT
Join your multifamily peers in dialogue on the next generation of energy efficiency and carbon reduction strategies in affordable multifamily housing. This year we’re excited to welcome HUD Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman, who will discuss HUD’s efforts to make the department’s Public and Assisted Housing portfolio more carbon-free, resilient, and healthy in line with the administration’s whole-of-government decarbonization and resilience goals. We’ll also hold a discussion with a panel of experts on the policies and programs needed to help the sector cut carbon emissions through electrification while meeting equity, resilience, and healthy housing goals. We look forward to hearing from you!
Electrification Policy Panel: Ilene Mason, Rethinking Power Management (moderator); Bomee Jung, Cadence OneFive; Ravi Malhotra, ICAST.
