The Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA) Disaster Recovery and Special Issues Division (DRSI), in partnership with Enterprise Community Partners, hosted a webinar to provide guidance on public participation requirements and best practices for Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) grantees.

Training Objectives

Participants learned:
  • The CDBG-MIT requirements for public participation
  • How to develop a public participation strategy
  • How to create and manage a citizen advisory group
  • General best practices for public participation
