The Office of Environment and Energy (OEE), in partnership with Enterprise Community Partners, is hosting a webinar to provide information on the recently published final rule, “Conforming the Acceptable Separation Distance (ASD) Standards for Residential Propane Tanks to Industry Standards” (85 FR 4225, January 24, 2020).
This final rule excludes certain propane tanks from HUD’s ASD requirements, in relation to HUD’s environmental review process. The webinar will explain these changes and how to determine compliance with the revised regulation.
Participants will learn about:
- Recent changes to HUD’s regulation at 24 CFR 51, Subpart C, excluding above-ground storage tanks of 1,000 gallons or less containing liquefied petroleum gas or propane from the ASD requirements of that subpart
- How to apply the updated 24 CFR 51, Subpart C exception to environmental review records they prepare pursuant to 24 CFR Parts 50 and 58
Who Should Attend?
This webinar is intended for HUD partners, program recipients, applicants, and professionals.
Date: February 21, 2020
