Upcoming Webinar: Marketing and Disposition Strategies for NSP Properties - May 2, 2013 - 2 pm EDT

For many grantees, the disposition of NSP properties is the most challenging task. There are rules and regulations that might be hard to comply with in certain markets. There are particular complexities around holding renovated properties, landbanking lots and structures, finding lending products that work for the customers, and tailoring the disposition strategies to make sense in the neighborhoods and local real estate conditions. Each NSP grantee is dealing with a unique set of conditions, so this is not a one-size-fits-all situation.

The attendees of this webinar will be presented with recent HUD guidance on disposition and a variety of strategies that deal with marketing or otherwise disposing of NSP lots and houses. Some of the approaches will work in stronger markets, while others will make sense in weaker housing markets. The goal of the webinar is for the participants to hear what has worked for others and to learn some steps that can help market remaining NSP properties.

Participation Instructions
To Join via WebEx (Online + Audio)
  1. At least 10 minutes before the start time, log into the webinar by going here: https://enterpriseevents.webex.com/enterpriseevents/onstage/g.php?t=a&d=664467391
  2. Enter your name and e-mail address, then click “Join Now.”
  3. WebEx “Event Manager” software will load; this can take several minutes.
  4. Once the meeting window has opened, you will automatically be connected to the streaming audio service (e.g., audio will be heard over your computer’s speakers.)
  5. If you prefer to hear the audio over the telephone instead, click on the “phone request” icon at the bottom of the Participants List (it looks like a phone handset.) This will bring up a box with the toll-free dial-in number and access codes. When dialing in, you will be prompted by the operator to enter the meeting number, and then your attendee ID number. It is important that you do not skip the attendee ID number, as this keeps your phone line and online presence in sync. If you dial in properly you will see a handset icon appear to the left of your name in the Participants List.
To Join via Teleconference (Audio Only)
  1. Call toll-free: 1-877-668-4490
  2. When prompted, enter in the meeting access code: 664 467 391
  3. Press # when asked for your attendee ID number.
  4. Please Note: Audio Only participants will NOT be able to submit questions during the session.
