Celebrate Fair Housing Month

April is Fair Housing Month! Since 1968 with the passing of the Fair Housing Act, Fair Housing advocates have dedicated their careers to ending housing discrimination and advocating for equal rights. This year, celebrate Fair Housing Month with two special events focused on ending housing discrimination in communities across the Nation.

FHEO Event | 54th Annual Fair Housing Month Ceremony

Celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act with HUD's Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO) during a virtual Fair Housing Month Celebration.

This event will kick off Fair Housing Month and showcase HUD’s efforts to advance and protect fair housing rights to ensure that all people have the right to obtain the housing of their choice, free from discrimination.

NFHTA Event | Bridging the Racial Homeownership Gap: Special Purpose Credit Programs

Join NFHTA's April Fair Housing Forum for an engaging discussion on how Special Purpose Credit Programs (SPCPs) are being used to address racial gaps in homeownership.
