Welcome to the Vienna Project newsletter!

If you are receiving this newsletter for the first time, please visit our web site at www.theviennaproject.org or download our smartphone app at www.theviennaproject.org/app

I am sending a quick Vienna Project update to remind you about upcoming sprays for our November Pogromnacht calendar. I will send a longer newsletter when I am back in the states. There is so much good news to share!

In the meantime, please mark your calendars with the dates below, and enjoy the incredible press coverage that The Vienna Project has attracted thus far, including a highly coveted "Kopf des Tages" / Head of the Day spot in der Standard!  Soon we will post a multi-media album of opening events at the Odeon Theater followed by video installations along "Parcours des Erinnerns."   Suffice it to say that the Odeon Theater was overflowing with people and memory.  The mood was jubilant, attentive, and respectful. Every moment unfolded on cue, with splendid elegance and focus.

In a room and an evening filled with meaningful and imaginative encounters with memory expressed through the remarkable music, poetry, performance and video projections of our performing artists, the night also reflected the talent and vision of The Vienna Project team. Standing together in solidarity before a diverse audience, this night seeded a new message about these times. We modeled what is possible, how to come together while bringing different perspectives to bear on a history that continues to matter.

We start our Sidewalk Installation program this week supported by our Smartphone app. If you are currently in town, please join us for upcoming sprays with speakers listed below, and check the website for additional programming.  Also, mark your calendars to join us in May, when we conclude The Vienna Project!
