Stability Engineering received a Merit Award from the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia (SEAOG) for their work on the Historic Barn at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. The architect for this project was Cooper Pierce from Jones Pierce Architects and the contractor was Gay Construction. Please join me in congratulating Chris Murphy, Allen Morris, and Pierre Coiron.

CHRISTCHURCH PRESBYTERIAN is our largest Adaptive Reuse project to date. This former office building with parking deck is being converted to a church facility with a 3-story gallery and office space. The sanctuary is being created by hollowing out the third floor and roof of the east half of the existing building.

Currently, the structural steel is being set and modifications to the existing structure are being made. Special considerations are required due to the coordination between new and existing structural elements. We are proud to be a part of this great project, working with Gertler & Wente Architects, Tunnel Spangler Walsh Architects, and Van Winkle Construction as the contractor.
