On Monday, the College opened nominations for the 2017 InnovAction Awards. For 13 years, the InnovAction Awards have celebrated innovations in law practice management and the delivery of legal services. Winners of past InnovAction Awards have come from around the world and areas of practice from large law firms representing corporate America to newer firms disrupting the BigLaw world to nonprofits providing invaluable access-to-justice services for those who cannot afford traditional private practitioners.
With innovation in law accelerating and expanding, embracing technology developments more than ever, we are hopeful the InnovAction Awards will grow in significance and meaning. We need to make the Awards known and spread the word that the nomination period is open. Can I ask your assistance in doing so?
To make it easier, I am including a draft tweet, a draft blog post (also suitable for a LinkedIn article or Facebook post), and the College's news release. Apart from any social media outreach, please consider whether there are local or regional publications you can contact. Such an article could be a good way to promote your firm in addition to the InnovAction Awards.
