PENNSYLVANIANS FOR RIGHT TO WORK INC. COMMENDS
PA FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN ON BOLD STAND
(Harrisburg, PA) Saturday, the PA Federation of Republican Women, which is made of local councils across Pennsylvania took a bold stand and unanimously passed a resolution supporting the passage of Paycheck Protection legislation in Pennsylvania and ending the draconian practice of having Pennsylvania’s workers act as collectors and campaign bundlers for public sector unions.
“If anyone understands unfairness it is women.” says Matthew Wagner, Director of Communication and Legislation for Pennsylvanians for Right to Work. “These women understand it is unfair, and just plain wrong for public sector unions to have the distinct advantage over private sector unions and any other organization in the state of having taxpayers collect their dues for them and send them a check every month. They are to be praised for taking this bold step, along with the many counties, townships, and other organizations who have adopted similar resolutions to stand against such inequity.”
The resolution will be sent to each local council, as well as to the leadership of the Pennsylvania House and Senate.
