July 20, 2021 Newsletter Edition
Stay tuned to an announcement about our fall fundraiser. We will not be holding an in-person Pumpkin Soiree, but we are working on details for something fun to keep friends engaged and help us begin fundraising for next summer's flowers.
On October 8 at 10 am, KIB is giving a "Blooming Beautiful" virtual presentation through WMU's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). Learn more about OLLI, and when the registration for fall courses is available, sign up for ours!

You also might have historical information and photographs that could help add to this and other community presentations. Do you have information about our early days as Kalamazoo County Flowerfest or photographs of volunteering with us? Do you know someone who was a celery farmer? We're all ears and curious! Email Linda Whitlock to start sharing your stories and photos.
We are in search of people with various backgrounds to join our Board of Directors. A priority for us is to increase our diversity in age, gender, and race. If you have an interest in what we do and would like to play a part in ensuring our organization's health and community engagement, please reach out. Board terms begin in October and are for three years.
