Republican Teresa Jacobs is re-writing her own history and counting on one thing this election cycle. That voters don't know the truth. Her campaign is busy selling a story that doesn't square with the facts.

The same Teresa Jacobs who famously broke public records laws during the 'Textgate' scandal and was required by law enforcement to pay hundreds of dollars in fines along with her Republican colleagues is now claiming to have brought "a higher standard and new code of ethics" to Orange County Government. Please!

Now she's trying to mislead Orange County's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community by taking credit for passing Orange County's DPR (Domestic Partner Registry).

Even Disney couldn't imagine a fairy tale like this one.

Here’s the truth! Teresa Jacobs' entire campaign is based on what they don't want you to know.
  • They don't want you to know that she's a Rick Scott Republican.
  • They don't want LGBT voters to know Teresa spent almost two years trying to block the DPR taking advice from anti-gay activists until the 11th hour...
  • AND they don't want progressive voters to know that Teresa Jacobs does not support marriage equality OR a statewide domestic partner registry.
This is typical Teresa trying to re-write her own history for political advantage.

Lately she's been
attacking her opponent, Val Demings for being supported by the Democratic Party, while Jacobs' own campaign sends out carefully crafted statements to make Teresa sound like a Democrat to voters who don't know her values.

Help us beat back Teresa Jacobs' revisionist storytelling by donating $25, $50 or $100 to the local Democratic Party.

Voter's deserve to know about Teresa Jacobs' REAL record.
