The Fran Lewine Interview Project

Last fall JAWS began the Fran Lewine Interview Project to record the stories of women who made a mark in journalism. The first installment featured JAWS member and veteran journalist Peg Simpson interviewed by Edie Lederer, UN Chief Correspondent for the AP.

Women Journalists in the 21st Century

Pamela Creedon’s Gender and Mass Media class at the University of Iowa explored the contributions of women journalists. The students wanted to learn more and interviewed 30 JAWS members on their experiences and the future of women in journalism.

Former JAWS President Megan Kamerick has left the New Mexico Business Weekly to produce and host "Public Square" on New Mexico PBS.
