ISAAC Updates

We are pleased to announce that a long-term ISAAC board member, Shana Won became the board chair. Shana, Financial Planner at Shuster Financial Group, has been a faithful supporter, prayer partner, and encourager. Under her leadership, we believe that ISAAC board will take a next step.

We welcome Janelle Paule, ISAAC’s Communication Coordinator.  Janelle, a member of the honor’s society at Biola, will be graduating on May 27 with sociology major and minoring in communication studies. Janelle is passionate about social justice and racial reconciliation.  As Executive Coordinator of Multi-Ethnic Programs and Development, Janelle has provided leadership on campus as a student leader.

Edward Yang accepted the call as Associate Pastor of Children, Youth and Families at the Federated Church (PCUSA & UCC) in Columbus, Nebraska, starting July 15th.  His life is in full swing: graduation on June 11 for his PhD in Theology & Culture, move to the midwest, ordination, and ministry.  We deeply appreciate Edward Yang, Associate Director, for his near five years of dedication to ISAAC’s mission.

Karissa Xu has been volunteering as the youngest intern under ISAAC for four years. Karissa with her mother came from Shanghai and will be graduating from South Pasadena High School on June 8.  She will begin undergrad at Cal Berkeley this fall! It has been delightful to watch Karissa and her mother becoming Christians. At the end of last year, Karissa decided to get baptized.
We continue our mission of bridging the academy, church, community through 3Ts (Transcribe, Translate, Transmit Spiritual Legacies).  With faith, we rely on your participation and financial support.
