Penn State Hillel offers two winter break trips.


Poland - December 28, 2015 - January 4, 2016
Travel to Poland with Penn State Hillel and Aish Penn State for an eye-opening trip through the 100 of years of Jewish history. This highly-subsidized trip to Poland will connect you to hundreds of years of Jewish history, and explore the growing and vibrant Jewish community in Poland today. Be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jewish Penn State students. 
Program Highlights:
Visit the camps and cities, meet with survivors and community builders, probe the depths of your humanity and tap the very source of your soul.

Roatan, Honduras- January 2-9, 2015
Travel to Roatan, Honduras for a service-learning, Alternative Winter Break.The trip will be led by Penn State Hillel's Director of Engagement, Leah Chakoff, and Nationally Renowned Motivational Speaker and Jewish Life Educator, Scott Fried. 
Program Highlights:
-Full days of community service in the community of Roatan.
-Cool down from a hard day of community service on the beautiful beach.
-Interactions with locals who are able to tell their life stories.
-Midweek excursion to experience the culture of the beautiful island.
-A water taxi ride to West Beach for snorkeling.
-A visit the Monkey Zoo.
