Dear Friends of A Gift of Art,
The 2020 Great Canadian Giving challenge recently came to an end and we would like to send a huge thank you to those who participated and contributed this year.
2020 is our first year taking part and we not only met with success but also surpassed our goal by more than 10%. We are beyond proud that we have had the opportunity to continue to support local artists by taking part in the Canadian Giving Challenge.
This challenge raised money for A Gift of Art, it also provided us with the opportunity to encourage Lina Marza to create the campaign. Lina is from Syria and after very few years of schooling in English since she arrived, she stepped up to the plate and produced a campaign that exceeded its goal. We are very proud of her and her accomplishments.
Your support and donations are greatly appreciated. It is truly amazing to see how many of you want the growth of local artists and their work to continue. It is great that the community understands the value of supporting local galleries, like A Gift of Art.
Please know - your donations and support of A Gift of Art has had an immediate positive influence on our gallery, the individuals, community and families who participate with us through our gallery and educational programs.
Most importantly, your continued support and donations have enhanced the strength of our shared community and it’s love of art.
