Into America's Wild re-launches in theaters, delivering exquisitely beautiful locations and immersion in nature's wonders
Now, more than ever, Into America’s Wild delivers what audiences are cravingthe chance to travel to beautiful new places and be immersed in the splendor of nature's wonders. After a limited release in 2020, the film is set to re-launch in theaters this year as more and more markets open up. With upcoming premieres in Chattanooga, Ft. Lauderdale, Dearborn, Austria and more, Into America's Wild offers the uplifting experience your audiences will look forward to as we head into spring and summer.

Science Spectrum Goes Wild With Nature-Themed Promotions
Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, Science Spectrum in Lubbock, Texas pulled out all the stops for its launch of Into America’s Wild in October, creating a nature-themed marketing campaign and lots of outdoor-inspired promotions and programming. “The film’s message about the benefits of spending time in nature could not come at a more important time, and we wanted our campaign to reflect that,” said James Nesmith, Administrative Manager. “This is such a beautiful, feel-good film and audiences are really responding to it.”

At the center of the museum's campaign was a camping gear giveaway contest hosted by local CBS station KLBK and retail partner Mountain Hideaway Outdoor Outfitters. The “Into the Wild Camping Gear Give-away” was promoted with on-site displays in the theater and in the retail store, and KLBK produced and aired a :30 TV spot and interviewed Nesmith

The museum also hosted an Outdoor Family Photo Challenge on their social channels and asked followers to send pictures of their family enjoying nature. Winners won film tickets and swag. The museum's education team created a Nature Swap program where members bring in specimens found in nature and earn points to swap for specimens from the museum. "It has been amazing to offer an uplifting film that inspires viewers to see, do and be more than their circumstances have allowed recently," said Nesmith.
