PRAYER AND PRAISE BAPTISM SERVICE
Our next Prayer and Praise Night is on Sunday, March 13, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. This is a time of worship and praise and to share what God is doing in our church family. We have ten people signed up for baptism that night. We still have room for you.
We will be celebrating baptisms at this service. Here's a reminder of what we as a church believe about baptism:
Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior and the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony of the believer’s faith. Even Jesus was baptized!

DAMASCUS ROAD COMPASSION TEAM PROJECT
 The Compassion Team is raising awareness for Damascus Road, a nonprofit advocacy group dedicated to fighting the evil of human trafficking. Each woman who comes to Damascus Road receives an Exodus Bag filled with toiletry and cosmetic items. We would like to help Damascus Road fill these bags.
Current needs: shampoo, wash cloths, loofah/scrubbies, lip balm, nail polish and remover, razors and shaving cream, cosmetic bags and unused cosmetics, hair spray (pump only), leggings, yoga pants, undergarments, no-show socks, plain hoodie sweatshirts.
Gift cards to Festival, Walmart, Amazon, Oshkosh Transit, Target, and Pick N Save are also appreciated. You can drop these items off at the Compassion Table in the foyer across from the library.
Damascus Road will be one of the charities that will receive the proceeds from the Compassion Team’s Annual Rummage Sale. Watch for details regarding the sale! |

If you are new to RiverValley or if you have been coming here for a while and have questions, would like to serve, or get connected in other ways, the Information Table is where you can get the help you are looking for. This table is located just outside of the Worship Center.
If you are new to RiverValley, we have a gift bag for you, so please stop by the table and let them know you are new. We're so glad you're here!

CONNECT 102
Connect classes are for anyone ready to step into the RiverValley family and are the best place to learn what our church believes. This February class is the second in a series of three classes. but anyone is welcome even if they didn't have an opportunity to make it to the first class. This class is a casual family-friendly event. A light breakfast will be served, so we appreciate your RSVP with the number of adults and children who will be attending.
