As you know, Pastor Dave and Bonnie (accompanied by Caleb and Angie Ihrig) are enjoying the second half of Pastor Dave's sabbatical. They are missing their church family but have been able to travel to some wonderfully significant biblical and historical sites. Here is the itinerary of where they've been and where they have yet to go:

February 26 - Thessaloniki
February 27 - Philippi
February 28 - Berea
March 1 - Athens
March 2 - Mars Hill/Parthenon
March 3 - Corinth
March 4 - Ihrigs fly home and the Barbers continue on to Izmir, Turkey
March 5 - Smyrna, Pergamum & Thyatira
March 6 - Sardis & Philadelphia
March 7 - Laodicea & Colasse
March 8 - Ephesus
March 9 - Fly home

Following you will find just a few of the highlights of their trip thus far!
Pastor Dave, Bonnie, Angie Ihrig, and Caleb Ihrig at the Corinth Canal. Corinth is located on a peninsula with the Adriatic Sea on one side and the Agean on the other. In ancient times, ships could pay a great toll to be hauled by land from sea to sea rather than sailing around it! This canal was eventually built to solve that problem.
Agora at Philippi. Paul was beaten here before the generals (strategos) before being thrown in prison.
Incredible view en route to Delphi
A portion of the "Egnatia Way" Roman path that Paul would have traveled, leading from Kavala where Paul first landed from Turkey. This is the gateway of the Gospel to the Western world.
The Bema Seat of Corinth. In front of the Bema is this low, carved pillar. This is where an accused person would kneel before the authorities for their verdict. This is THE very spot where Paul knelt! THE VERY POST!

"In a world increasingly indifferent to Christian truth, followers of Christ need to be equipped to communicate with those who do not speak their language or accept their source of authority. Gregory Koukl demonstrates how to get in the driver's seat, keeping any conversation moving with thoughtful, artful diplomacy. Read more

Dedications are scheduled for Sunday, March 20. If you would like to have your child dedicated, please contact the church office at or call 920-231-9690.

Our next Prayer and Praise Night is on Sunday, March 13, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. This is a time of worship and praise and to share what God is doing in our church family. We have ten people signed up for baptism that night. We still have room for you.

We will be celebrating baptisms at this service. Here's a reminder of what we as a church believe about baptism:
Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior and the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony of the believer’s faith. Even Jesus was baptized!

"In those days Jesus came from Narareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan." Mark 1:9

If you are interested in being baptized, please contact the church office or Pastor Wyatt

The Compassion Team is raising awareness for Damascus Road, a nonprofit advocacy group dedicated to fighting the evil of human trafficking. Each woman who comes to Damascus Road receives an Exodus Bag filled with toiletry and cosmetic items. We would like to help Damascus Road fill these bags.

Current needs:  shampoo, wash cloths, loofah/scrubbies, lip balm, nail polish and remover, razors and shaving cream, cosmetic bags and unused cosmetics, hair spray (pump only), leggings, yoga pants, undergarments, no-show socks, plain hoodie sweatshirts.

Gift cards to Festival, Walmart, Amazon, Oshkosh Transit, Target, and Pick N Save are also appreciated. You can drop these items off at the Compassion Table in the foyer across from the library. This is the last week to make donations for Damascus Road.

Damascus Road will be one of the charities that will receive the proceeds from the Compassion Team’s Annual Rummage Sale. Watch for details regarding the sale!
