MEN'S RETREAT 2023 SAVE THE DATE

The focus this year will be on living a life that will echo in eternity. How do we as men live a life of making disciples? We will have multiple speakers, incredible worship, and lots of fun and fellowship. This will be a great opportunity to build relationships with other men who are pursuing a life sold out to following Jesus.

Check In: Friday, February 24, from 6:00-8:00 (dinner is not included)
Check Out: Sunday, February 26, at 11:30 (lunch is not included)
Cost: $150
Location: Mt. Morris Camp and Conference Center, W6016 Blackhawk Rd, Wautoma, WI 54982
Who is Invited: Men in high school and above
Deadline to Register: Sunday, February 12.
Register:  Men's Retreat Event Page
Additional Information: We will provide a snack Friday night, three meals on Saturday, and one meal on Sunday. There are bathrooms with showers. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, and a snack to share. We will be doing outdoor events, so dress accordingly. We have room for 70 men to attend, so sign up soon.

We are waiting on parts to fix the lift in a way that we hope will be more permanent.

There are plastic guides that fail quickly, and we have ordered a system that shouldn't wear out as fast.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We are doing all we can to make the lift ready as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience.
OSHKOSH PUBLIC MUSEUM PARKING LOT REMINDER

The museum staff allows us to park in their lot on Sunday mornings; we are appreciative of this good relationship with the museum. They have given us a friendly reminder to leave 3 spots open in their staff parking lot. They are also asking us to not park in the fire lane next to the sidewalk and the carriage house.

We know that the parking situation isn't optimal. Remember that you can park on the street, including the street west of High Street (Summit Avenue).

We extend our sympathies to the family of Andy Ballard who went to be with the Lord last week. We will have a memorial service for him here on Friday, December 16. Visitation will start at 2:30 p.m. and the service will be at 4:00 p.m. Here is his obituary if you would like to read it.

We are planning on child care for 0 - 3 year olds, as long as we get volunteers.

Last year the 3:00 p.m. service had 379 people, so we suggest trying the 2:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. service to make sure you have a place in the Worship Center.

Coffee, hot cocoa, and cookies will be available in the Café on Christmas Eve, so we invite you to enjoy that with us.
We will have a short live stream video for all who will be staying home on Christmas morning. It will include a Christmas carol to sing, our own kids acting out the Christmas account, and a short message from Pastor Dave.

We will go back to our regular three-service schedule on Sunday, January 1.
Please join us for MARTHA’S MEAL if you’re able to on Monday, December 19.

Christmas Eve Child Care
RVC | kids will have child care available for Christmas Eve services for ages birth - 3 years of age. If you know which service you are planning on attending, would you please email Tracy Fettner - this will help in scheduling volunteers.

Sunday Morning Separation Anxiety
We love sharing the Word of God with your children on Sunday morning. We also know that separation anxiety can pose some drop-off issues. We want you to know that the church building is open throughout the week to allow your child time to acclimate to their classroom. It can also be a time of connecting with friends in a child-friendly environment. Contact Tracy to schedule time for a play date with friends, to ask questions, and to enjoy the space God has provided.
2023 GIVING ENVELOPES AVAILABLE

Giving envelopes for 2023 are now available in the Café. If you’re new and need some, or prefer to give online, please let Kathi Miller know (920-231-2265).
NEW ADDITION TO THE RVC FAMILY

We are thrilled to welcome new babies to our RiverValley family!

We celebrate with Andy and Shaunna Ovanin on the recent birth of their daughter Autumn.

May God's blessings be on this family during this exciting time!

If you have a new baby that we have not yet acknowledged, please let us know! We want to celebrate all new babies in our church, and we don't mean to overlook anybody.

Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. -- Matthew 19:14
