Income Generation

What a WONDERFUL start to our FY18 Stewardship Campaign -- we've already received pledges totaling almost $76,000!  Thanks to our thirty early birds who made this happen!  You can join this enthusiastic group by turning in your pledge card at the Stewardship table any Sunday in March during coffee hour or after second service, by completing a pledge form on our website,, or by turning your card in to the Church office.  Let's "Step into the Future" together (it's almost spring--maybe we can even do a little "skipping" as we work toward making our UUCK dreams happen)!

Challenge for the Congregation!
Soon we will have the final price estimate for our new building, and then can start our planned expansion.  Pledged donations continue to come in but it would also be great to have some extra cash on hand. That's where you come in!  I will donate $100 for every fundraiser that is held for the Capital Campaign by June 30, 2017 (because early money is the most helpful).   If your fundraiser makes more than $1000 I will double my donation and donate $200.  While all donations to the campaign are very much appreciated, this challenge is for fundraisers where 100% of the proceeds go to the capital campaign.
Interested? Just submit an application for a church fundraiser and submit to MaryBeth (forms are available on the church website, in the annex, or from MaryBeth Hannan). Fundraisers do not have to be held in church or directed only to members of the congregation, so I encourage everyone to be creative.

And I hope you'll come and enjoy the wonderful music of the Celtic Clan of Kent on March 17.  This concert, held in the UU Church of Kent's Sanctuary will benefit our Capital Campaign!

Thank you so very much for the outpouring of generosity in providing us meals. Right now, the fridge is full and food is coming faster than we can eat it. It's all been delicious and we greatly appreciate everyone's donations.
