Greetings Friends,

Happy New Year!

By now, most of us have settled back into our normal routines. My shop continues to be busy, finishing up the quilt orders that weren't completed in December and filling many new orders! If you are interested in a quilt, please contact me ASAP so that I can get you on the schedule. These quilts take 4-6 weeks to make. I already have 3 on my schedule for graduation in the Spring.
I am very excited this new year!. A wedding quilt that I made was featured on the Green Wedding shoes website! Click here to see the Green Wedding Shoes feature (I’m in the second paragraph). It was a pleasure to work on this special quilt and I hope to make more wedding quilts in the future!

This traditional style, lap quilt features several Jimmy Buffett t-shirts and a black Hawaiian shirt that was worn frequently. The Hawaiian shirt fabric that I used for the backing has the same Hibiscus flower as the Hawaiian shirt on the front! Nothing says Buffett like a Hawaiian shirt!

Where's Mickey?

My customer and her family have always played the game "Where's Mickey" I added a small embroidered logo from a shirt onto a block in the quilt. Now they can play the game using their quilt! One more way to personalize each quilt!

I Want One!

MY First HOG Quilt!
Harley Davidson t-shirts are works of art onto themselves. They are truly beautiful! This traditional style, lap quilt measures 54" by 54" and includes 12 t-shirts from all over the country. A textured grey sashing was selected that resembles the road. Of course, the signature Harley Davidson orange was used too! I sincerely hope that this Memorial Quilt brings comfort, sweet memories, and warmth.

A Princess Quilt Made from Bed Sheets!

This vibrant traditional style, small lap quilt was made with Princess Jasmine cotton bed sheets! These sheets brought back so many memories of childhood for the lucky girl who received this quilt on Christmas morning! Here is her mom's response to me:
" Just wanted to let you know that my daughter absolutely loved the Jasmine Quilt that she received Christmas morning. Now my other daughter wants one! "

What cherished, childhood memories are wrapped in this quilt!

I used the the whole bed sheet for the backing! Bright colored green and coral colored sashing fabric was used to make this quilt even brighter.
