Mark Your Calendars: Fish 2.0 Regional Workshops and Global Webinars

This year’s new track structure initially places participants in the competition with their regional peers or in one of two global themed tracks, with the top scorers from each track moving on to the global finals. Businesses can enter in a regional track: Chile & Peru, New England, Pacific Islands, Southeast Asia, South Atlantic & Gulf Coast Shellfish, or U.S. West Coast; or in a global track: Transparency & Traceability or Supply Chain Innovation. Each track has specific eligibility criteria, detailed at  When in doubt of your eligibility, ask us!  We are happy to help.

Each of the regional tracks will include an on-site workshop in the region. The workshops build regional seafood innovation networks among entrepreneurs and give participants advice and training on business strategy, deal structure, and pitching to investors. Businesses that are not able to attend the regional workshops may still apply to the competition.

For global track participants and those who want to learn more from experts, we will provide a series of webinars from our team, resources on the website, and informational summaries about each sector.  While some resources will be available publicly, access to others will be restricted to competition participants, including sponsors, advisors, and judges. Participating is fun and does not take much time, so get involved and be a part of the network!

Events for the next two months include the following. Please click here to learn more.

Entrepreneurs interested in the workshops may apply on the website or contact with any questions.

You do not need to attend a workshop to apply to the Fish 2.0 global competition, which takes place online. Businesses may apply to the global competition online until April 29.
