Three years ago, you helped us bring Survivor Care to the United States. Since then, this program has served over 200 children affected by this horrendous crime. One of those children is Brianna. The first time Brianna met with our US Survivor Care staff, she learned there were words for what adults were doing to her: sex trafficking. At the time, she shared, "I’ve heard of pimps and I knew to be scared of them – but I didn't realize that the person I thought was protecting me was actually my pimp."
This wasn't overseas. This was right here, in the United States. But because of donors like you, Brianna was able to find adults she could trust – who knew how to really help her. She said, “I’m so glad a program like this is here for me and other kids who have gone through what I went through. You’ve helped me more than any other worker I’ve had in all my life. You listened when it felt like no one really heard me. The first lady who came out made me feel like I wasn't alone after other people made it seem like I was a bad kid. You have showed and taught me that I'm deserving of much more. I found my self-worth thanks to you.”
You’re part of the reason Brianna is free and recovering. Will you join us and help more children like Brianna?
