An Evolution of Leadership
The Board of Directors of the Tsoknyi Humanitarian Foundation (THF) is pleased to announce an evolution of leadership. Beginning eighteen months ago, a strategic planning process began to transition leadership and strengthen the Tsoknyi Humanitarian Foundation. As of July 1, 2020, Tsoknyi Rinpoche assumed the role of Board Chairman and Owsley Brown assumed the role of President. Julie Green is stepping down as Executive Director and will remain with THF as Treasurer and Financial Director. Additionally, the foundation hired its first ever paid staff member, Kristen Rockford, to serve as Operations Manager.

Fresh, New Website
We are very excited to announce of our newly designed website Tsoknyinuns.org. It is creative, interactive, and frequently updated with news from the school & nunneries, fundraising campaigns, and stories from the nuns.
A HUGE thank you to board members Julie Green and Babo Harrison for their incredible contribution to the website and to our amazing web designer, Spafford Ackerly. The Donation page is interactive and rich with information thanks to Spafford's customization abilities and expertise.
We hope you enjoy the fresh look of the new website and find it a reliable a source of information for all things relating to the Nuns!

A Ray of Light!
In a world with so much pain & suffering, we are pleased to provide a ray of light.
Tsoknyi Rinpoche and the Nuns are doing fine and staying safe during the pandemic. Remote learning is going well for the young nuns as the teachers successfully run online classes in all subjects via Google Meet. The Shedra nuns are continuing their studies and 5 senior Shedra nuns are helping supervise the online classes and teach Tibetan.

In light of these difficult times, the Tsoknyi Humanitarian Foundation is sincerely grateful for our generous donors who continue to support the nuns. Their donations allow us to fund the construction of a new school building, the endowment fund, educational support, and to cover the annual expenses of the school and nunneries. The nuns need our support and we need your help to continue our work.
