Greetings Camp Friends,

We hope you have heard about the "Mission Possible" campaign to rebuild the pavilion at camp!  It's the most expensive project we've ever taken on here at Bethany Birches Camp and we need the entire camp community to join in.  A couple points of interest:
We plan to begin construction in August 2014.  Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find a way to contribute to the effort. If you accept this mission read below for more information!

The Mission

Why raise $1.8 million to construct a new pavilion?  The full case statement is here.  In short:

Bethany Birches Camp (BBC) allows campers the opportunity to make lifelong friends and develop a relationship with God and the great outdoors.

Camper’s trust in Jesus grows deeper and stronger with each week or weekend at camp. Some campers spend up to four weeks at BBC in the summer!

The existing pavilion is falling apart and can not accommodate the growing needs of camp! The floor gets very wet when it rains, the foundation is rotting, the kitchen is not equipped to handle weeks with lots of campers, there is limited or no storage, and there are no bathrooms.
An updated pavilion will allow us to provide multiple times per year for campers to return and keep these relationships alive and growing. We have seen that Increasing the number of non-summer programs will help us achieve our mission to help young people develop their relationship with God by giving them more opportunities to come to camp.

Your Mission: Donate!

Please support the campaign by donating today!
We need money.  We need skilled laborers.  We need prayer and encouragement.
Can you commit to supporting the Pavilion Project in one of these ways? If so, please click on the "Give Now" button below.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
