The chaplain is now back in Moscow, but needs to be in quarantine until Saturday 12 September. There will therefore still only be one service this Sunday. It will be a communion service, with the bread and wine consecrated in the parsonage and then brought over to church.

The youth group, for those aged 18-30, will meet after the service. Please speak to Mary
People are required to wear masks, especially when singing or speaking the responses, and also to keep social distance. Please make use of the hand gel at the entrance to the church.

ST ANDREW'S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Church AGM would usually be held in April, but because of COVID has been postponed to next Sunday, 13th September.
At the meeting we can reflect over the past year, hear about our financial situation and what has been happening with the restoration, ask questions of the Church Council and chaplain, and elect wardens and representatives to the Church Council.
The meeting will be held after the service, and everybody is welcome to attend. You are eligible to stand for election to the Church Council and/or vote for members if you are on the church electoral role.
ST ANDREWS' SUNDAY SCHOOL AT HOME
We do not plan to resume Sunday school in the next few weeks, but will continue to provide sheets for children, and try to involve them a bit in the services. We will see how the start of term goes before making any decisions.
There is, however, an area for small children in the chapter room (the room next to the church), but they need to be accompanied and we ask you to bring toys along with you.
You may be back to school this week and already finding that your relationships with your friends are not always easy! In this week's 'Sermon for Kids' session it helps us to think about our attitude to our friends and how to put a Jesus perspective on it! Here's a memory verse to take with you this week.
"If a fellow believer hurts you, go and tell him -- work it out between the two of you. If he listens, you've made a friend." Matthew 18:15
We are praying for you all as you start school again and meet your friends and maybe make some new friends too.
We start our next confirmation group on September 20th. It will meet after the 11am service (although some sessions may be by zoom). If you are interested in finding out more about the Christian faith, about Anglicanism, and how to find faith and to grow in your faith, then this is for you.
We do not know when our next service of confirmation will be. This will depend on when a Bishop is able to visit Moscow. Click here if you would like to find out more about confirmation, or contact the chaplain

GIVING TO ST ANDREW'S
THANK YOU very much to those who have given via yandex or in other ways.
At the moment we have no income coming in from concerts or events, and are dependent for everything on your donations. You can give on Sundays, or via the chaplain, or direct at https://moscowanglican.org/roubles/
If you would like to give through Yandex on our website, you will need to fill in the form on the first page, stating how much you would like to give, your phone number, name (if you wish), citizenship, email address, and then say what you would like the donation to be used for. Please do write in English or Russian that it is a Donation and that VAT does not apply. You can copy and paste the Russian words in quotation marks if you wish.
The only boxes that you need to fill in are the amount you would like to give, your telephone number, and we would ask you to state that this is a donation and that VAT does not apply.
You then press the last button and will be taken to the Yandex payment page.
This is what the Yandex payment page looks like. In this example, the donor has said above that they would like to give 1000 roubles. You can either pay by bank card, yandex money or even via Sperbank telephone.
Please note that Yandex take a commission of 2.8%, so if you are giving a large sum, do get in touch with us to see if there are other ways of donating.
