Our Sunday school is currently not meeting, but we will provide sheets and a take away bag (with craft and snack) to occupy children during the service, and we will also try to involve them a bit in the services.
There is, however, an area for small children in the chapter room (the room next to the church), but they need to be accompanied and we ask you to bring toys along with you.

November 29

To St Andrew's Children!
When you're at school or doing some homework do you sometimes drift off and start to day dream? Then your teacher or your mum suddenly says "Wake up, pay attention!" and you get back on track.

In our bible story today from Mark 13.24-37 Jesus is telling his friends about when He will come again to the earth in the future. We don't know when but He says we need to stay alert, to pay attention and live in a way that shows we are ready for Him.

Help!  How do we do that?
Jesus says two things will help us, firstly - we need to keep reading and listening to God's word - the bible - because, even if all the things around us are changing and getting worn out, God's word will never disappear (v 31), and secondly we have to watch and pray (v 37), that means keep relying of Jesus, thanking Him for all we have everyday.
That's what you're doing now! Hooray!

Morning prayer is live streamed Monday - Friday at 8:30am, and Saturdays at 9am.
You can find us on our facebook page or the home page of our website.

- Continue to pray for the authorities as they make decisions about COVID, and for those who work in our hospitals and health centres. Thank God for the vaccines and pray for those who work on the production and distribution of vaccines.
- Pray for the restoration project particularly as we submit documents requesting funding for work on the roof. Pray for our need next year to find about $150k for the next stages of the work.
- Remember to pray for Vverh who used to be based at St Andrew's, and for the students

- Pray for those who are sick or are having to quarantine. Pray for patience and for healing. Continue to pray for Volodya our guard.
