This Sunday we have the nativity skit in the morning at 11am and the carol service at 6:30pm.
The chaplain and Alison - who did both test positive for COVID but have had mild symptoms - need to quarantine until the 23 December. Please note that services will continue as normal, although there will be be no 9am Sunday service until Sunday 10 January
THIS SUNDAY
11 am Morning Prayer with nativity skit The service will be live streamed on our facebook page,
or the home page of www.standrewsmoscow.com
Leader: Dan Culbertson Preacher: Children and nativity skit
12.30 pm Groups after the service The Confirmation group will meet after the service
Youth group: Will discuss Isaiah (Natalya), John the Baptist (Mary) and St. Clara of Assisi (Olga)
Refreshments will be served after the service and there will be the opportunity to buy Advent Calendars, cards, Christmas puddings, mince pies and other items that would have been sold at the Christmas Bazaar
Our Sunday school is currently not meeting, but we will provide sheets and a take away bag (with craft and snack) to occupy children during the service, and we will also try to involve them a bit in the services.
There is, however, an area for small children in the chapter room (the room next to the church), but they need to be accompanied and we ask you to bring toys along with you.
On Sunday evening at our carol service, we will be using the new organ for the first time.
The organ was built by the German company Rohlfing-Kreienbrink in 1790, and restored in 1958. It has 34 registers and more than 2500 pipes. In 2016, the organ was purchased by Heavenly Bridge and brought to St Andrew's.
It is being installed by Ignatiy Izotov, chief organ master at the Zaryadye concert hall, and Vladislav Yodis, chief organ master at the Tchaikovsky concert hall.
We now have the facility for people who wish to make a gift in Rubles (RUB) via Sperbank. If you have an account with Sperbank there is no commission. If you use another bank there may be a small commission. Please use the QR code below.

PRAYER THIS WEEK
- Pray that, in the middle of all the uncertainty and unpredictability, we will know God's protection and peace. Pray for our nativity skit and carol service today, for the musicians, the singers
- Give thanks for the new organ; pray for those who continue to complete the work, and pray that it might be a blessing that brings many to worship of God.
- Continue to pray for the restoration project particularly as we submit documents requesting funding for work on the roof. Pray for our need next year to find about $150k for the next stages of the work.
- Please pray for all of us, that we keep healthy and responsible. Pray for the chaplain and Alison, and particularly for those who have COVID seriously, and those who care for them.
- Pray for those who are sick - for patience and for healing. Continue to pray for Volodya our guard.
