The SGV Bike Master Plan has been formally adopted by the Cities of San Gabriel and Baldwin Park! On 11/25 two more project Cities will consider the final draft plan - El Monte and Monterey Park!
Your support is needed in Monterey Park!

Holiday Social and HQ Grand Opening 12/12!
Join us for a special holiday celebration on Friday December 12th! Thanks to the support of the El Monte City School District, BikeSGV now has an official headquarters in the City of El Monte! Just a stone's throw from the Rio Hondo River Trail and featuring a large playground -- perfect for bicycle skills and technique workshops -- BikeSGV's new home base is on the campus of Mulhall Elementary, a school site in the midst of being transformed into a non-profit village.
Come check out our new digs, enjoy some festive food and drink, bid on a few holiday gifts, and maybe even win something in our raffle! Hope to see you on 12/12!

Women on Wheels Holiday Jingle Ride!
Please save the date for Sunday, December 14th, the Jingle Ride! We will meet at Rosemead Park (4343 Encinita Ave Rosemead, CA 91770, 9am meet-up, 9:30 ride-out) to bike our way through residential streets and the Rosemead Blvd cycletrack. Christmas colored/themed clothes are highly encouraged and Nikki, our recently certified LCI, will teach a quick traffic safety 101 workshop before we start.

November Bike Train (11/30)
Celebrate summer in the SGV with our family-friendly ride Sunday August 31st! This month we will be starting at Peck Rd. Park in Arcadia.
Location: Peck Rd. Park, 5401 N Peck Rd, Arcadia, CA 91732
Cost: FREE! Just show up with a working bicycle and helmet!
Car Parking: Free at the park, but car/bike-pool if possible!
Bike Route Details: 17 mile, paved and relatively flat route.
Requirements:
- Children (17 and under) must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
- Children (17 and under) must wear helmets. Adults are strongly urged to wear a helmet. Be an example and protect your noggin!
- Bring a working bicycle. Although we have a mechanic, he cannot rebuild bicycles on the spot.
- Bring a bottle with water.

El Monte Active Streets Rally
Come one, come all! Join Day One El Monte and BikeSGV at the Active Streets Rally at El Monte City Hall on November 25th, at 6:30 pm. El Monte City Council will vote on 3 important items: Complete Streets Policy, the SGV Bike Master Plan, and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Fletcher Park, which will be home to BikeSGV's first Bike Co-Operative and Education Center. Please attend in support and RSVP to the FB event. See y'all there!
PasCSC Holiday Lights Ride 12/5
Join our friends at the Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition on Friday December 5th! We will be collecting toys for local families, exploring some of Pasadena's existing great neighborhood streets, and enjoying the holiday lights and some festive, hot, seasonal beverages!
- What: Pasadena Holiday Lights and Toy Ride
- Where: Start/Finish @ Day One, 175 N. Euclid Ave., Pasadena 91101
- When: Friday December 5th (6pm meet, 6:30pm depart)
- Why: To collect toys for local families, explore some of Pasadena's existing great neighborhood streets by night (including sections of our proposed Pasadena Neighborhood Greenway Network), and enjoy some festive, hot, seasonal beverages and goodies!
- What to bring: BIKE LIGHTS, a new unwrapped toy (or $10), and warm clothing
