Dear <<First Name>>,

At this time of year especially we like to take a pause and give thanks for YOU … our partners and supporters, colleagues and friends. Thank you for inspiring us, encouraging us, and being a part of what makes us wake up each morning loving what we do more and more with every passing day!

As we look toward 2020 and beyond, we want to be able to support you as much as you support us. The entities we work with in Africa are all interested in being part of your story: featured in a catalogue, promoted on your website or social feed, participating in an event, included in a unique itinerary … whatever it is you do to encourage travel to Africa to your clients, we’d welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you.

Creating interesting itineraries for you to sell is even more meaningful to us as the majority of the properties we work with in Africa are all stand alone, one of a kind, and family owned … and our DMCs can of course help piece together the puzzle for each and every destination. We’ve put links to various assets (video, photo, etc.) to help get us started on this journey together; please reach out to us for more information if needed, or with your thoughts on how we can work together next year to continue elevating Africa in the eyes of your travelers.

Tongabezi remains our favorite home-away-from-home in the Victoria Falls area. Just far enough upriver to be away from the busier hotels and helicopter overflights, yet close enough to easily get to the airport, visit the Falls, and also partake in activities at the Falls (like visiting Livingstone Island, scenic flights, bungee jumping, whitewater rafting, etc.).

Operating in a similar "all-inclusive" way as safari lodges, guest are always hosted by some of the most passionate and committed Zambians proudly showing off their hospitality and love of the country. A large part of their inspiration is driven by our award-winning Tujatane School, which makes a big difference in the lives of neighboring communities.

We received some recent accolades in Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

All the relevant information on our accommodations, activities and much more is on our website. We also have comprehensive Photo and Video galleries, where you can download hi-res images, etc.

Zambian Ground Handlers is the most specialized and effective DMC in Zambia, working with all the major as well as smaller safari operations. As ZGH is often one of the the largest suppliers to many of the safari lodges, they can offer very attractive rates, while at the same time providing an unbiased and seamless start to finish service for groups and FITs.

ZGH also has a sister company based at Lusaka Airport to oversee all arriving, transiting and departing passengers, along with handling Lusaka road transfers.

As a central source for all things Zambia, all the relevant information on various Destinations within Zambia, along with sample itineraries and comprehensive details of just about every safari camp, hotel, etc. have been collected on our website. We also have photo galleries where you can get a feel for each camp and download hi-res images, etc.

Business as a force for good.
Behind every safari is work that makes sure that our local communities and National Parks benefit from our presence. It matters to us that Nomad exists as a force for good in Tanzania.

Whether it's children on empty legs of flights on their way to receive life changing surgery, or seeds and compost training for the local farmers who grow our camp veggies, there’s a lot more to a safari with Nomad than just those magical moments spent with wildlife.

If you have guests keen on engaging with the work being done, please get familiar with our Trust activities by downloading these Fact Sheets. And, if you have questions on how you can be more involved please email Lucy on

Madagascar Classic Collection has revolutionized the typical approach to itineraries showcasing the amazing diversity of Madagascar, where around 90% of animal and plant life is endemic. With limited infrastructure in the country, driving all over is not the way to go for most clients and flying between lodges set in different eco-systems, with different wildlife highlights in each, is more analogous to how you approach safaris in any other safari destination in Africa. Here is a well-balanced 13-day Wildlife Highlights sample itinerary utilizing our scheduled charter flights (on Mondays and Thursdays) to the far south in combination with visiting the renowned Andasibe/Mantadia reserves. Covering three distinct eco-systems, it's my favorite for guests focusing on wildlife viewing, but we can tailor itineraries all over Madagascar and often include the likes of uber luxe Miavana, remote Tsara Komba, even more remote Masoala, and many others.

We also have updated images of the lodges and activities.

At the heart of everything we do at Campi Ya Kanzi is the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust (MWCT). Conservation and communities always go hand in hand and the Trust is a shining example of what can be achieved when passionate people set out to protect one of Africa's great wilderness areas. Your guests make a big difference purely by visiting and experiencing this special and unique area.

We also commercially operate our own licensed Cessna 206 and can fly your guests directly from Jomo Kenyatta to the camp, if their international flight arrives in daylight, and to Jomo Kenyatta in the evening, for their night flight, avoiding any Nairobi traffic.
For us flying guests is not an air transfer; it is a safari experience from the air. We always fly as low as the guests like, looking for wildlife, explaining the geography and history of the land. The flight to/from the Mara is simply one of the best air safaris one can have: a 1 hour and 40 minutes "Out of Africa" flight, over the migration, waterfalls in the Nguruman escarpment, flamingos on Lake Natron, the Rift Valley, the Amboseli pan, and the many iconic elephants at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

With the holidays coming up, if you are looking for an African gift, you could buy these fabulous wines, with $5.00 donated to our Trust for each bottle sold.

Celebrating their 100 year anniversary throughout 2019, Cottar's 1920's Safari Camp, 5-bedroom Bush Villa and new Fly/Conservation Camp remains the most authentic safari experience in the Mara. The private Olderkesi Conservancy allows for a host of activities (night drives, off-road driving, electric mountain bikes, safari walks, bush breakfasts/dinners, authentic community visits, etc.) not found in the main Mara Reserve. Nowhere else in the Mara can you experience the peace and solitude we can offer guests on our Conservancy and also in the area of the Mara south of the Sand River that hardly anyone else can get to.

As a full DMC we work with all the major properties in Ethiopia and can secure photo assets and more from any of them according to your needs. We've also broken ground this week on the first of our own luxury tented camps to be constructed in a magical location in the Simien Mountains. Above is a sample of the style of the new tents. Watch this space for updates and opening dates in later 2020.

We'll also welcome educationals as we introduce a whole new calibre of accommodation in Ethiopia. Let me know if you're interested in visiting Ethiopia later in 2020.

Here are some highlights from Brooke.

If we’re not already “friends” or following each other on social, feel free to connect with me personally (I'm simply under my name: Brooke Berlin). I’m visiting Tswalu this month to see the new Motse and will be posting photos from there, and the lodges I’m visiting in the Greater Kruger as well. All of Tswalu’s photo are easily accessible for you to download and use from our new website.

We’re in the process of updating and uploading new photos from Ol Jogi and as soon as they are ready I’ll let you know. In the meantime, you can access all of our current photos, videos, helicopter excursions, and most importantly our conservation reports in this DropBox.
Alfajiri Villas already has several amazing packages with properties in Kenya, including the Cottar’s 1920s Villa, Angama Mara, and Saruni Mara and Samburu, along with a Stay 5 Pay 4 deal. As the Kenyan Coast, and Diani Beach especially, regains popularity, we’d love to be a featured beach destination for you. Each of our three villas have separate photo galleries that can be easily downloaded for your use from the website.
The One Nature Nyaruswiga team is eager to collaborate with you. While not everyone knows about us yet, they will soon, and we would love for you to be the one to share the “best kept secret” of the Central Serengeti. We already have a high percentage of guests coming from the North American market, and those of you who book us regularly have sent exceptional feedback from their stays. You can download our photos from this DropBox, and please reach out if you would like to explore more ways of promoting Nyaruswiga and Tanzania together.
I have been overwhelmed with the interest in West Africa since starting to work with TransAfrica after my trip with them last December. Similarly to Tswlau, I will be traveling to see what’s new this coming December, so feel free to follow me personally (I’m on Facebook and Instagram under Brooke Berlin). I’ll be exploring Senegal and Guinea-Bissau this December, two new countries for me. If you would like help promoting West Africa let me know! The team has done in-depth training webinars, created white labeled itineraries, and has a wealth of images to share.
