Newsletter March 2018

Dear <<First Name>>,
February is always short and this time, even spring showed her face - while we should be iceskating on the Oudegracht instead. Nature is a bit confused, but we are nevertheless working hard to organise some interesting events this month.

In this month's newsletter you can find:

Update from the board

Dear members,

Another month, another update from the board! While we are only halfway the year, we are already slowly focusing on handing over our beloved board positions to the next board. The few coming weeks, we will be organising information evenings and events to inform all who are interested in learning what it means to be a board member and how you can apply. We hope to see you there!

Furthermore, our next General Assembly will be held on the 25th of March. You can expect an official invitation soon, to keep you guys informed on how everything is going behind the scenes and what our plans are for the next few months.

Best wishes,
On behalf of the board,

Julie Koehorst
CS Ubuntu President

Recap of Last Month's Events

6 February: Monthly Drinks

This month's monthly drinks were another good evening welcoming back people returning from abroad and welcoming new members to the association!

14 February: Pub Crawl
If you think walking down the street with hyperactive toddlers is hard, try keeping students on a pub crawl together! Our regular cafe, De Stadsgenot, was the starting point of a great evening that involved lovely people, games and dancing (and maybe a late-night kebab as well).

27 February: Board Games

Nobody is more enthusiastic about playing games than students with a goal: beat the opponent. So lovely to see so many people show up for the game night! In fact, we were with so many people, we managed to acquire more and more tables at Cafe Tilt (guess that is also a game won...)
Don't miss out on having your revenge, or try to beat the champions, during out next baordgames on the 27th of March.
