Dear members,

The first few weeks of the block are already behind us, and we as the board are settled nicely. We have really enjoyed seeing you at the drinks, pub crawl, other activities or of course in the board room. Most of the committees are formed, a lot of new activities are being planned, and we are excited to see you there!

On this evening we presented this year's committees. We are happy to announce we have formed committees and you will be able to meet them at the next event!
 

18 September: Lecture about Killer Robots
In collaboration with PAX and SIB, this evening transformed into an inspiring talk about the possibilities, dangers and international opinion on autonomous killer robots.

24 September: Climbing the Dom Tower

‘Oh damn, I really need to work out more’, was my main thought while I was climbing the Dom Tower. Even though I’ve lived in Utrecht for a couple of years now, this was my first time. Standing on top of the tower made me hate myself for not having done this before.

The whole Ubuntu-squad who conquered the stairs could see their house, the university and, because of the great weather, even Rotterdam and The Hague. Even though we could see other cities, there’s nothing better than being on top of the best city of them all.
