Spring festivals are in full swing, and I’m prepping with several clients to get booth materials and festival marketing in place. Do you exhibit at birding festivals? Here are some tips to improve your booth presence. I’m going to be focusing on marketing for festivals in future emails, too, so keep an eye out.

I’m also working on a project for Nighthawk that I’m truly excited about: the Nighthawk magazine. It’s going to be free and full of useful content for birding and ecotourism companies. I’m hoping to debut it at Biggest Week. I put a ton of effort into making sure that Nighthawk’s print materials are minimal and as eco-friendly as possible, which is why I’m packing the mag with concise, valuable information so it’s something worth keeping and referencing for years to come. Want to make sure your print materials don’t get thrown away right after you hand them out? Let’s talk.

More big news for Biggest Week: I'm teaming up with Hannah Buschert from the Hannah and Erik Go Birding podcast to host a Women Who Bird Social on May 11 at Maumee Bay Lodge! Details here.

And for a birding update, I'm working my way around Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York this week to find some common and uncommon winter birds. Targets include King Eider,  Grey Jay, Boreal Chickadee, Black-backed Woodpecker, and White-winged Crossbill. Wish me luck, and follow along with my travels on my Instagram stories.
