Come and enjoy a slice of pie and a short program this Sunday, November 24th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at United Lutheran Church.
  • Enjoy a slice of pie from Darcy's Cafe - an assortment of mouthwatering flavors will be available (takeout containers also available).
  • Learn about our Path to Thriving Citizenship - what we are doing at Global Friends to help people gain citizenship, what that means to our newest citizens, and how you can help.
  • Remarks from our citizenship teachers, as well as from two of our newest citizens, Larysa Ratovska and Elias Dean, on what it means to them to achieve citizenship.
  • Cultural dance performances from two amazing young dance crews.
  • A silent auction for a delicious cheesecake with special toppings from Paola's Pastries.
  • Donations can be made on-site with cash, check, or debit/credit card, and all gifts are matched dollar-for-dollar by the Otto Bremer Trust!
If you are unable to attend but would still like to make a contribution to help New Americans become new citizens, you can donate online, or by check (Global Friends Coalition, 600 Demers Ave, Suite 406A, Grand Forks, ND 58201).

A grant from Thrivent Financial, assistance from Hugo's, and our collaboration with United Lutheran Church makes this event possible.
