The House State and Local Government (SLG) Committee announced yesterday afternoon that it is holding the 4th hearing for HB 327 today at 9am.

Representative Diane Grendell is scheduled to present a NEW substitute bill for HB 327.

THERE IS NO CALL FOR TESTIMONY, as stated by the Committee Chair's office.

Ohio School Board Association terminated membership with National School Board Association

On October 25, 2021, the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA) terminated its membership with the National School Board Association (NSBA). This was in response to NSBA's request on September 29, 2021, to US President Joseph Biden for federal intervention to address threats to educators and claims of domestic terrorism and hate crimes. The Ohio Capital Journal reports that NSBA issued a memo on Friday, October 22, apologizing to its membership base.
