Our Story……

Handmade Meets The Arts is a proud initiative of Moreton Bay Arts Council and Handmade Redcliffe.

In November last year, Moreton Bay Arts Council President Janice Charlish approached Handmade Redcliffe to work with her to produce a market at the Old Redcliffe Fire Station.

Both groups work to support, highlight and showcase handmade products from local makers.

The Moreton Bay Arts Council is a passionate voice for local and Regional creative groups and individuals in both visual and performing arts and is always looking for ways to support the creative community. Collaborating with Handmade Redcliffe provided another avenue to do this.

Handmade Redcliffe curator and founder Janmaree Lowe commenced her journey four years ago to establish her signature markets. Handmade Redcliffe has gained a reputation of quality products, enjoying the patronage of loyal and new customers alike and is a great support to local maker’s producing handmade products.
