Moreton Bay Arts Council March 2016

I'm so looking forward to Sunday 6th March, One Creative Voice Forum, and meeting you in person. We've had great interest from the art community, so much so that we have moved to the bigger room at the Corso North Lakes. With all the displays and diverse discussion there will be plenty of food for thought.

Special -Guest speaker Naomi Spooner - Coordinator Grants and Business Services Moreton Bay Regional Council will speak about the RADF Grant Program -  opportunities for local creatives to access funding and support.

Community Grants officer Amy Wockner  will be available to answer your questions about the new Community Grants Program.
Please contact Janice if you'd like to see a copy before Sunday so you can be ready with your questions.

Great Tips for Creatives

Get Dried Oil Paint of  a brush

To get dried oil paint off a brush [with natural hairs], soak it in nail-polish remover for a minute or two, after that you wipe off what remains and clean your brushes with soap and water as usual. Remember that nail-polish remover is basically the same as laquer thinner sold in hardware stores and can melt the glue that holds the fibers and will melt synthetic brush hairs.
