Welcome to the May Newsletter,

I am back from a great holiday celebrating my birthday and our 47th Wedding Anniversary - I thought we were going to Russia - NO - the love of my life surprised me with a river cruise through Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, finishing at the Black Sea. WOW what a great time…I am all cruised out until next time.

We've got some great events coming up:

2nd July - Handmade meets the Arts Market Day.
9am -3pm, Old Redcliffe Fire Station
This was a great success last year, don;t miss out, book a market tent for only $25 or $15 a Table. Very affordable limited spaces - applications on line open until 17th June. Any questions email

The Create Career Fund supports individual mid-to-late career artists and authors by providing grants to support time to write and create. Next round closes 10 June 2016. More...

Playing Queensland Fund
The Playing Queensland Fund supports the delivery of performing and visual arts projects that are ready to tour and have demonstrated community interest and confirmed demand.  Applications can be submitted at any time.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund
Grants are allocated to not-for-profit community groups to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.  Closes 31 May 2016. More..

Beverley J. Currie – 

Internationally acclaimed -- Australian Eggshell Artist

In 1982 Beverley discovered the art of eggshell decorating.  The fascination of creating exquisitely beautiful pieces of art from an eggshell has been her passion ever since.
